The Trews (www.thetrewsmusic.com):
With four albums in seven years, two of them gold; 10 Top-10 singles, two of them No.1 and one gold; multiple awards, for best single, video and live group; and close to 800 live shows under its belt, including support slots for the Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Guns N' Roses, Nickelback and KISS, the Canadian rock band never rests.

The Trews - comprised of lead vocalist Colin MacDonald; his brother, guitarist John- Angus MacDonald; cousin, drummer Sean Dalton, and long-time friend, bassist Jack Syperek - keep pushing themselves in the studio and onstage, always ready to give an intuitive and intense rock 'n' roll show of songs that have killer hooks.

Perennially recognized for their creative output, The Trews are 5x JUNO Award nominees, were nominated for Best New Band by SPIN.com and Best New Band by Classic Rock magazine in the UK. They also won Hard/Rock/Metal Song of the year at the U.S. Independent Music Awards.
This tireless band just released their album "Hope & Ruin" and true to character, they will hit the road this summer to do what they do best - play live.

Tim Chaisson & The Morning Fold (www.timchaisson.com):
Refinement of capacity. Spirit. Creativity. While such terms endeavour to express the ultimate in marvel and ability, when it comes to performer/songwriter Tim Chaisson, these descriptive terms-which he is far too courteous to use on himself-perfectly befit the exceptional musical endowments of this 23 year-old Prince Edward Island native.

With three solo albums under his belt and the recent release of Broken Hearted Beat, Chaisson is on a fast rise to dominating his genre. A quick glimpse of the band's achievements over the past two years reveals an enviable onslaught of accolades: winning Music PEI awards for Songwriter of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Pop Recording of the Year and Group of the Year and more.

As for, Broken Hearted Beat has gleaned an honorable mention in Billboard's 17th Annual Song Contest, single "Broken Hearted Beat" has snagged Number One on both the MuchMoreMusic Top 10 (numerous times over a six-week period) and East Coast Countdowns-with two more singles on the latter's charts-and nomination for the East Coast Music Awards' 2010 Pop Recording of the Year.

"My East Coast roots are elemental to making this album unique," he waxes philosophically. "I was lucky to have such a large family that introduced me to so many diverse forms of music. I think they all come out on this album. The same thing applies with the rest of the band. They have that influx of inspiration from their families and they're fantastic multi-instrumentalists. As for me, well, I've been doing this since I can remember...I'm gonna be in it for the long haul."

Nudie & The Turks (www.nudieandtheturks.com):
Formed in the spring of 2005, Nudie and the Turks took their vision first to the streets, busking anywhere and everywhere. This led to an East Coast Music Awards showcase; no small feat for a three month old band.

Nudie and the Turks continue to keep busy playing the Maritimes, Ontario, Quebec & Western Canada. They have showcased at the North by Northeast Festival, the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals, the East Coast Music Awards as well as features on CBC Radio.

Charlie A'Court (www.charlieacourt.com):
Named as Nova Scotia's top entertainer at the 2009 Music Nova Scotia Awards in November, Charlie A'Court is synonymous with impassioned performances that grip an audience the very moment he takes the stage.

Winner of the East Coast Music Awards 2007 Pop Recording of the Year and 2007 Music Nova Scotia Blues Recording of the Year for his album Bring On The Storm and 2003 Best Blues Artist for his debut album Color Me Gone, Charlie A'Court is an emotionally charged and soul moving performer. Fearlessly bridging genres and challenging stylistic conventions, his music and passionate voice stir up the listeners' emotions, touching the very core of audiences around the world.

Charlie's modern blues style, mixed with his contemporary songwriting has created a mass appeal, ensuring A'Court's material is widely accepted as a festival favourite by audiences. Fuelled by emotion and a desire for delivering powerful music, Charlie A'Court is undoubtedly one of Canada's new generation of fresh singer/songwriters, attracting fans internationally with gutsy vocals and his colourful yet solid guitar playing.

The Meds (www.themeds.ca):
The Meds are a five-piece rock group with big musical aspirations and an even bigger sound. Since their inception in the small city of Charlottetown, PE, in 2006, The Meds have stood out in the small but vibrant local indie music scene.

In August 2009 multiple JUNO nominee, ECMA winner, and fellow Maritimer, Matt Mays, after hearing their 2008 demo EP, approached The Meds with the idea of making an album together. With Mays in the producer's chair, The Meds have crossed the continent, recording in rural Nova Scotia and San Francisco, California.

In addition to working and performing with mentor and friend Matt Mays, The Meds have shared the stage with artists such as Down With Webster, By Divine Right, Carmen Townsend, Adam Baldwin, Haywire, Tim Chaisson & Morning Fold, Two Hours Traffic, and Paper Lions.
